2025 Season Overview

Autumn started the 2025 season in January at Desert International Horse Park (DIHP) in California training and competing with Lisa Carlsen and Dayton Gorsline.

Autumn started riding Levi in late 2024 who had been injured and was no longer able to compete in the big ring, so Autumn rode him to prove he was amateur friendly for potential future lease or sale. Maricaibo (Caibo) was finally ready to get back into jumping form and Ballerina was starting to look really promising. As the season progressed at DIHP it was obvious that Caibo was fully recovered but he had decided that he was going to retire, he would not go past 1.15 meters. Levi was doing really well considering he is definitely not amateur friendly with Autumn at 1.10 & 1.15 meters. Bella turned out to be a star finally, her and Autumn really started to come together as a team.

Horse Expo Canada in Red Deer Alberta was the next stop at the end of April for a 3 day jumping clinic with Sean Jobin.

Autumn only competed on Caibo one more time at T-Bird and called it quits as he had decided for himself that he was finished jumping high. Autumn did not ride Levi any longer as he was put up for lease as an amateur friendly 1.15 meter jumper. Ballerina was coming on strong and their best finish was 4th at the National at Spruce Meadows in the 1.20 meter Trimac Cup.

The 2025 season is finishing out at DIHP with Autumn riding only Ballerina.

The shows we plan on attending

RMSJ_MainLogo_dropshadow3-01-01_edited_edited.png

As much as we love attending shows at RMSJ we will not be frequenting the venue as often as we have in the past. Autumns focus is on her progression into the Grand Prix Ring and a spot on the National Youth Team. However it is a perfect venue for young horses.

With this focus in mind we will be attending more shows offering points toward world rankings.

We plan on attending the following shows with Sammy and Venus

June Classic 1
June 10 - 14

June classic 2
June 17 - 21

Mid Summer 1
July 8 - 12
